Our Treatments
Cleanings
Regular dental cleanings are the best way to prevent gum disease and other oral health complications while keeping your teeth and gums in tip-top shape. Put your feet up while we polish your pearly whites and remove plaque from hard-to-reach areas.
Fluoride
We offer fluoride treatments to keep cavities at bay. Fluoride strengthens your tooth enamel, making it more resistant to acid attacks from plaque and bacteria in the mouth.
Periodontal
Care
Preventing or treating periodontal disease is crucial to maintaining good oral health. We provide periodontal care for patients currently dealing with the painful effects of gum disease or those hoping to prevent it.
Oral Cancer
Screenings
Screening for oral cancer at your next routine visit is one of the best things you can do for your oral health. When detected early, oral cancer is much more treatable than if it remains undiagnosed for a long period of time.
Same-Day
Appointments
Because we know life doesn’t always wait for your scheduled visits, we do our best to accommodate same-day appointments for urgent dental needs or emergencies.
Laser
Therapy
Laser therapy can be used for a variety of dental conditions, and is an efficient and painless way for us to correct issues with your teeth and gums. It’s just one example of the advanced technology we’re proud to use at our practice.
FAQS
What’s included in a preventive dental visit?
During a routine dental visit (usually every six months) one of our hygienists will give your teeth a thorough cleaning to remove plaque from the surface of your teeth and your gum line. We also recommend dental X-rays once per year. Next, your dentist will perform a dental exam, looking for any issues that need to be addressed and speaking with you about your concerns. Optional add-ons include a fluoride rinse and oral cancer screening.
Does a teeth cleaning hurt?
Nope! Some patients have more sensitive teeth than others, but in general, plaque removal isn’t painful, and most people don’t mind at all. If you have dental anxiety about getting your teeth cleaned, we’re here to listen to your needs and come up with a plan to make cleaning your teeth stress-free.
What if I need periodontal care?
Periodontal cleanings are slightly different from routine/preventive dental cleanings. If you already know you need periodontal care, be sure to mention this when you book your appointment. If your dentist decides that you need periodontal care, we will recommend a treatment plan that’s best for you—including a periodontal cleaning in the future.
